What You Bring to The Table
As a critical member of our team, you’ll be:
Customer-driven – You know the importance of exceptional guest service and leaving each guest a raving fan
Passionate – You are genuinely passionate about the art of haircutting/coloring and perfecting your craft
Skilled - You are a licensed stylist versed at cutting/coloring using various techniques on different hair textures. Cosmetology students are encouraged to apply for our Apprenticeship Program.
Dependable – You are engaged, and enthusiastic. You show up and give 100% every single time
Communicator - You posses skills of open and honest communication, can give and recieve feedback.
Team-oriented – Collaborator and teammate. You enjoy working with others
Inclusive - Welcoming and accepting to all. We do not tolerate hate of any kind
What it takes
The best hairstylists are creative, professional, committed to their craft and an exceptional guest experience, and above all, kind.
This is an hourly or commission position based on the role.
MUST be able to perform cut/color techniques on multiple hair types and textures and be up to date on the latest industry trends
TN cosmetology license or enrolled cosmetology student
Willing to attend monthly team meet-ups
Participate in salon charity events and educational classes
Genuinely passionate about your craft and improving your skills year over year
Able to complete a new hire training series
Marketing savvy with active social media presence
Detail-oriented and professional
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to recommend products and services
Strong communication skills with the ability to provide a complete consultation, start to finish
Emotionally intelligent, conscientious, and team-focused
